AL - An AL (Advance Leader) is a CL who has served as a district officer and completed additional requirements. It is the second step in the leadership track of the Toastmasters education program. More Info

ATM - An ATM (Advanced Toastmaster) is a CTM who has completed at least two Advanced Communcations & Leadership Manuals. The advanced manuals range from "The Entertaining Speaker" and "Interpersonal Communication" to "Speeches by Management" and "The Professional Salesperson". There are three levels of ATMs: Bronze (ATM-B), Silver (ATM-S) and Gold (ATM-G). More Info

C

CL - A CL (Competent Leader) is a CTM who has served as a club officer, attended training and completed additional requirements. It is the first step in the leadership track of the Toastmasters education program. More Info

CTM - A CTM (Competent Toastmaster) has completed ten prepared speeches from the Communication and Leadership Program manual. Speech objectives range from "Show What You Mean" and "Vocal Variety" to "Organize Your Speech" and "Inspire Your Audience." More Info

DCP - Toastmasters International's Distinguished Club Program (DCP) focuses on Club education and membership growth. All Clubs are automatically considered in the Distinguished Club Program, which begins July 1 and ends the following June 30. Progress is tracked at World Headquarters based on information submitted by the Clubs. There are 10 goals for the DCP. Clubs that meet the membership requirements and achieve 5, 7 or 9 goals are recognized as a Distinguished Club, Select Distinguished Club or President's Distinguished Club. More Info

Distinguished Club - A club that has achieved 5 of the 10 goals in the Distinguished Club Program.

DTM - A DTM (Distinguished Toastmaster) designation is awarded to those individuals who have completed all the programs in the Communication Track (CTM, ATM-B, ATM-S, ATM-G) and the Leadership Track (CL, AL). It is the most prestigious award available in Toastmasters. More Info

Evalulator - A member designated to provide a brief evaluation of a fellow member's prepared speech. Speakers get immediate feedback on how well they accomplished their assigned objectives. More Info

General Evaluator - The General Evaluator is responsible for evaluating the entire evening proceeding. This is typically the last item of the educational program before the Toastmaster of the evening wraps up the educational session. More Info

Gruntmaster - A member designated to note phrases (like "you know") and sounds (like "ah" and "um,") that are used as a "crutchwords" or "filler" by anyone who speaks during the meeting. More Info

Inspirator - A member designated to present a short inspirational speech at the end of a meeting. More Info

Jokemaster - A member designated to present a non-sexist, non-racist joke at the start of a meeting. More Info

President's Distinguished Club - A club that has achieved 9 of the 10 goals in the Distinguished Club Program.

Select Distinguished Club - A club that has achieved 7 of the 10 goals in the Distinguished Club Program.

Table Topics - The part of the meeting where members get to think on their feet and speak for a minute or two on a topic selected by the Table Topics Master. Topics range from politics and current events to hobbies and entertainment. Fast, lively and always entertaining.

Table Topics Evaluator - A member designated to provide a brief evaluation of the table topics speeches. More Info

Table Topics Master - The toastmaster assigned the role of conducting the table topics session. More Info

Timer - A member designated to time the evenings proceedings. This includes the length of the business session and all speeches, evaluations, table topics and presentations given at the meeting. More Info

Toastmaster - A member designated to act as the meeting host, introducing the different segments and participants in the evening's program. More Info
